The international research training program awardees are given the yearly living cost allowance of twenty eight thousand, eight hundred and fifty four dollars which is allocated to them fortnightly, They are also given overseas health insurance, on the other hand the JCU scholarship for research awardees are given only twenty eight thousand, eight hundred and fifty four dollars yearly.
The RTPS and the JCUPRS scholarship award are available for all students irrespective of tribe and race. International students with exceptional and outstanding academic research skills are permitted to apply for these scholarships, it is available for researchers to study and gain their masters and PhD certificate. RTPS and JCUPRS scholarship is open within any field of study. These scholarships are fully funded and cover all the tuition fees within the years of program.

Eligibility Criteria For James Cook University Scholarship
To be eligible for the JCU Scholarship for international research training program scholarship (RTPS) and the James cook university postgraduate research scholarship (JCUPRS), an applicant must have a satisfactory academic excellence and capability in their education.
These applicants must have met the international English language testing system (IELTS) English language requirement. Your transcripts for all qualifications attained and a proof of citizenship or residency in the form of a passport, birth certificate or visa. These scholarship is available for the masters and the PhD scholars and the requirement different.
PhD Scholars
To be eligible for this James Cook University Scholarship award, applicants must:
- Two referee reports.
- Transcripts and parchments of undergraduate, honors and postgraduate courses undertaken
- Certification of English language proficiency
- Passport details or evidence of citizenship
- Outline of your proposed research
- Current CV or resume
- Evidence of publication
Masters Scholars
To be eligible for JCU scholarship award, an applicant must:
- have completed transcript of a Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 5.5 in the final year of study or with demonstrated research experience.
- have acquired certification of English language proficiency
- have Passport details or evidence of citizenship in handy.
